Antarctica

And so the daddy was doing some activities with the girls and was talking about Antarctica. Sarah made a comment that she would like to visit Antarctica one day.

We both laughed and said wow that’s quite a tough one but let’s try. Her daddy replied her that he has not even been to Antarctica himself. And Sarah without a thought said “Next time I’ll bring you daddy, I will bring everybody.”

Such a sweet little girl we have.

Wind stress

If the wind had not blown, these disciples would never have asked, “Who is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!” (Mark 4:41).

The experiment that today’s daily bread referred to; was that trees grow and they face the stress of the wind blowing at them. In their experiment of growing trees in still air, the trees collapsed with no reason. They came up with the conclusion that trees need wind stress to learn how to cope with it and thus eventually grow strong.

Similarly, we all need such stress in our lives. Without stress, we will never learn to trust in Him. If we live life in a sheltered and protective bubble, we never learn to let God take control.
